Green Kenyan land dotted with acacia trees, hills rising behind

About Leinesta Properties Ltd

We make land ownership uneventful

Buying land in Kenya should be straightforward: you see the parcel, the paperwork checks out, the money is traceable, the title arrives. We have spent a decade making that the normal experience rather than the lucky one.

Our story

Formerly Lainesta, and still the same team

We started selling land in 2015 because too many Kenyans were buying parcels they had never walked, on the strength of documents they had never verified. The pattern was always the same, and so were the consequences.

The business now trades as Leinesta Properties Ltd, having previously operated as Lainesta. Same team, same parcels, same process — the name changed, nothing else did.

Today we work across two counties: Machakos, in the Konza Technopolis corridor, and Kilifi, in the Malindi hinterland. We deliberately keep the catalogue small — five active projects at a time — because we would rather know every parcel properly than list fifty we half-know.

We serve buyers at home and in the diaspora. For diaspora clients we run video site walkthroughs, share registry documents digitally, and work with a representative you appoint locally.

How we work

Three things we will not compromise on

We say no more often than yes

Most parcels we assess never reach the website. If a title search returns something we cannot explain, if beacons are missing, or if road access depends on a neighbour’s goodwill, we walk away. You only see what survived that filter.

The price on the page is the price

Advertised prices are what you pay for the land. Legal, transfer and survey costs are quoted separately and up front, in writing, before you commit — never discovered halfway through.

Land is not right for every buyer

If your horizon is under a year, or you may need to liquidate quickly, land is the wrong instrument and we will tell you so. A sale that leaves someone stuck is not worth the commission.

Due diligence

What we check before a parcel is ever listed

These are the checks that decide whether a parcel reaches this website at all.

  • Registry-level due diligence

Every parcel goes through an official title search, registry verification, mapping and access-road assessment before it is ever listed.

  • Genuine title deeds

You receive a genuine title deed, or a documented processing path with defined timelines. We put the status in writing before you pay.

  • Flexible payment plans

Structured instalments over an agreed period with no hidden charges. Pay by M-Pesa or bank transfer, and get a receipt each time.

  • Free guided site visits

See the land before you commit a shilling. We run scheduled visits to Konza and Malindi every week, at no cost to you.

The buying process

From first call to title deed

Six steps. Each one produces something you can hold on to.

  1. 01

    Requirement call

We start with a short call to understand your budget, timeline and whether you are buying to build, farm, or hold for appreciation.

  2. 02

    Site visit scheduling

Free guided visits run weekly to both the Konza and Malindi projects. You see the actual parcel, not a brochure.

  3. 03

    Plot selection & beacons

You pick your specific plot on the ground and we confirm the beacons with you present, so boundaries are never in doubt.

  4. 04

    Deposit & agreement

A written sale agreement, a clear payment schedule, and receipts for every shilling. No verbal promises.

  5. 05

    Balance & title processing

You clear the balance on the agreed schedule while we run the transfer and title processing at the lands registry.

  6. 06

    Post-purchase advisory

Fencing, water access, soil suitability, subdivision and resale timing — we stay reachable long after the transaction closes.

Questions

The things buyers ask us first

If your question is not here, ask it on WhatsApp — you will get a straight answer, including when the answer is that a parcel is not right for you.

How can I buy affordable land in Konza or Malindi?

Choose a listed plot, book a free site visit, then pay a deposit through our secure channels. You clear the balance on an agreed schedule and we process or hand over your title deed once due diligence is complete.

Are your plots verified with genuine title deeds?

Yes. Due diligence is carried out at the lands registry and only clean parcels are listed. Title deeds are either already issued or in final processing, and we tell you which before you pay anything.

Do you offer instalment payment plans?

Yes. Flexible instalment plans are available on every project. Talk to our team and we will structure a schedule around your cash flow, with the full breakdown written into your sale agreement.

Can I visit the site before paying?

Absolutely, and we encourage it. We run free scheduled site visits to the Konza and Malindi projects every week. Book through the contact page or on WhatsApp.

What payment methods do you accept?

M-Pesa and bank transfer. Every payment is receipted and reconciled against your sale agreement, so your balance is always documented.

Can Kenyans in the diaspora buy through Leinesta?

Yes. We regularly work with diaspora buyers. We can arrange a video site walkthrough, share registry documents digitally, and handle the process through a person you appoint locally.
